Community Livelihood Assistance Project, (CLAP).
Recently, two delegates from the Bread for The World, Germany visited Liberia to monitor project implementation activities. While in the field, the guest witnessed a demonstration of good hygiene practice from members of the Child Focus Club and was please with the impact of the project so far. The Child Focus Health Club is an activities of the Health component of the Community Livelihood Assistance Project implemented in Bong and Lofa Counties. This component aim to saved residence of project communities from water-borne diseases and diarrhea by providing access to hand pump wells (safe drinking water), the use of bath latrines, and good hygiene practices thus reducing environmental pollution.
