The Community Livelihood Assistance Project (CLAP) farming groups in Telemai community, Salayea, Lofa County recently expressed their excitement over the Project Implemented by the Lutheran Development Service in their community. Telemai community currently benefits from the CLAP project funded by Bread for the World and implemented by the LDS. In a recent monitoring visit, Leelah and Kukaju farming groups comprising residents of Telemai community expressed joy over the CLAP Project. Some members of the group expressed their gratitude to LDS for organizing community members into groups for the project. They also appreciated the decision to allow the group leaders to come from the community. Meanwhile, the project is currently providing livelihood assistance to the community through Agriculture, WASH and Education. Telemai community has one of the biggest Vegetable farm growing with fresh pepper and a Low-Land preparation for Rice at an advance stage.
