
Agricultural activities of the Community Livelihood Assistance Project (CLAP) in Telemai, Salayea, Lofa County have experienced great transformation on the Low Land Rice and Vegetable farms. The project aims to assist targeted households including Telemai community in Salayea, Lofa County, in increasing Rice and Vegetable production to improve food security and nutrition in the community.
In a recent monitoring visit, some important progress was seen on the farm including the development of fresh peppers. Additionally, the project has trained at least 100 residents in basic farming record-keeping and practices. Telemai has two farming groups; Leelah and Kukaju Development Association.
