CLAP begins the Second Phase of Farming Activities with Farmers in 8 communities in Salayea District, Lofa County.

The Community Livelihood Assistance Project has officially launched the second phase of its Harvest initiative by clearing land and constructing irrigation systems, focusing on the agriculture component to enhance food production and sustainability. This phase aims to build upon previous successes by integrating advanced farming techniques, providing essential resources to local farmers, and expanding crop diversity. Through strategic partnerships and community involvement, the project seeks to improve yields while promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices. Additionally, small-scale farmers will receive training on efficient land use and modern irrigation systems, ensuring long-term productivity and resilience against climate change.

As the second phase progresses, the CLAP Project will prioritize scaling up its impact across multiple farming regions. By implementing data-driven approaches and leveraging technology, the initiative will optimize crop management and reduce post-harvest losses. Local agricultural cooperatives are being strengthened to facilitate market access for farmers, ensuring fair prices and economic stability. With continued support from stakeholders, the CLAP Project remains committed to fostering food security, empowering rural communities, and driving sustainable agricultural growth.
